The LunchBox™ unit is a multi-purpose field case for providing network connectivity to IP based devices using 3G/4G cellular networks. Such devices can include IP phones, computers, laptops and video surveillance cameras. The unit is battery powered using military spec batteries enabling it to be used in isolated or remote areas and perfect for disaster recovery applications.
As a communications hub, the LunchBox™ connects local devices and enables them to share a cellular based 3G/4G backhaul connection. In addition, there are four Power over Ethernet ports provided so PoE devices such as IP phones can be conveniently connected. A built-in call manager enables IP-PBX type communications and manages IP phones enabling the LunchBox™ to be deployed as a remote, rapidly deployable communications solution.
